Birendra Kumar, an IIT Roorkee alumnus, qualified MPPSC Civil Services in 1989 and joined MP Finance Services. He prepared the budget of Madhya Pradesh for 10 consecutive years (2006-07 to 2016-17) and received the First Prize of Best Officer award from the Chief Minister of MP on December 24, 2014.
